30 Days Creativity PUMPKINS

One of my coworkers ask if I could make pumpkin cut-outs for her calendar.  I told her that would be a very easy project.  I used Designer Calendar and paper from my stash.  The pieces were cut at about 3".   The co-worker will write numbers on the pumpkins then laminate.

30 Days of Creativity Flat StanLEE

DD2's 6th grade World History class is making Flat Stanley's to send to pen pals in Japan.  We worked together to make some designer clothing for her StanLEE.  I used 3 Birds for the shoes and Everyday Paper Dolls for the shirt;  she used sixxiz for the paw print.  The paper is  from my scrap bag.  This was a quick fun project.

30 Days of Creativity

This is the title for this year's back to school photos.  I matted the pics and will add them after I finish this post.  I really do not like posting current pics of my kids.  I guess I'm a little paranoid.  I do believe I am caught-up once again.  I really need to post as I craft.

30 Days of Creativity

This is part of a "Thank You" book I am making.  I finished the pages today and have most of the accent pieces added. I have to make a few butterflies and flowers for the last four pages then I'll mail it off.

30 Days of Creativity

This is a copy of the award I am giving to my students with the higheset averages in each grade level.

30 Days of Creativity

Here is one of my Christmas pages from last year.  (I'm a little behind on my scrapbooking.)  I used a Creative Memories kit for the pages and cuts from Christmas Solutions and When It's Cold Outside.

30 Days of Creativity

I made this card using French Manor.  I used the Cricut markers for the lettering.  Most of the cuts were from white paper which I colored with chalks.  I added flock as an accents to the chair seat and the table.   I have no use for this particular card so i might use it as blog candy for an upcoming Halloween blog hop.

30 Days of Creativity

This is the photo frame I am going to use for my school kids.  DDs want to have a Halloween party so I will make photo frames for the party that I will "bling out".  I am working on some embellishments but haven't found anything I like yet.  I used some yellowish stickles on the purple part but not sure I like it.  I'll post pics tomorrow, if the stickles dry.

30 Days of Creativity

I made this card from some scrap cuts.  I keep cuts I do not use in a plastic school supply case.  Sometimes I give these pieces to DD2 to use.  The buttons came from my stash and the circle are left overs from a "long ago" project.  I guess you could call this a scrap-happy card.

30 Days of Cretivity (Sun)

This is the poster I "helped" DD1 make for Social Studies class.  We learned a lot about an archaeological site in South-western Texas.  I used Schoolbox for the letters.  This was my first time using Cricut transfer tape.  I really liked how fast and straight I was able to apply the lettering.

30 Days of Creativity (Sat)

This is the project I created for the Cricut Circle Sunday Challenge -- Use stickers.  DDs want a Halloween party so I am practicing the coffin making.  My next challenge is to make a big 3d house.  I'll post those pics next week.

30 Days of Creativity

I'm am getting things ready for my October "Good Work" bulletin board.  Tonight I made the "Dracula" character and the saying.  Tomorrow I'll build a witch.  My students look forward to seeing their papers displayed for all to see.  I also have to help DD1 build a Science poster.   Have a creative weekend!!

30 Day Creativity Challenge

SIMP

I went the DD1 and the "Choir Kids" to the beach today.  We didn't take a camera so I am making a photo-less LO.  My journaling talks about DD2 and I making a sand castle playing in the water and SIMP.  We had a great time and really enjoyed the outing but at the end of the day we all had SIMP (Sand In My Pants).  I used Ashlyn's Alphabet for the title, Everyday Paper Dolls for the sand castle, and Splish Splash for the other page accents.

30 Days of Creativity Challenge

I made these cuts so I can help my students learn how to make an organized list.  I have a large set to use as a whole class demo.  The smaller sets will be placed in a center for independent practice.

30 Day Challenge

Finally CAUGHT-UP

Now I can relax and have fun  again.  I am caught-up with my 30 projects in 30 days.

I made this little Spring sign to go with some pictures I took at the Botanical Gardens over Spring Break.  I'm a little behind with my scrapbooks.  I'll finsh the LOs and post them later this week.

30 Day Challenge

Almost Caught-up

I made these bows so I can tease one of my co-workers.  I used Ashlyn's Alphabet then ran the cut out bows through my xyron to magnetise/laminate.

30 Days of Creativity Challenge: Day 5

I'm a few minutes late.  My 2nd Friday crop went a little long.  I made this practice cut of the 3d coffin from Happy Haunting's.  I'm going to make these with black caardstock for my kids teachers.  I'll post pictures of the finished projects later.

30 Days of Creativity Challenge: Day 4

This is quick post to share my "Cricut Circle" head.  I used my Gypsy to design this cut.  I an having a great time trying to make and post things to my blog.  Boy, my work (teaching) gets in the way of my crafting, blogging and message board activities. Smiley

30 Days of Creativity Day 3

Just a quick card I made for my brother's birthday.  I used My World for the pumpjack and Easter2010 for the grass.  I used multi-colored foil, silver foil and red embossing powder to color the pumpjack and outlined the letters of the title with a black marker.  I outlined the grass with a green marker.  My bro loved his card!!!

30 Day Challenge Day 2

I normally don't scrapbook yard work and major clan-up projects like the one we did over Labor Day weekend but this was an entry for a Provo Craft contest.  Knowing I was going to scrapbook this project made the job much more fun.

I used Ashlyn's Alphabet for the title and Everyday Paper Dolls for the rest of the cuts.

30 Day Challenge: Day 1

My Expression Saves the Day

My DD1 comes in my craft room about 7 this evening and asks "Are you finished with my map?"  I calmly ask WHAT MAP (OK not so calmly).  We quickly use my "Gem" cricut markers and my Expression to make the necessary building and paper from my stash for the roadway.  Glue the stuff down and label the streets add and a map key and we are finished.
I just hope I can get my craft project finished before contest deadlines.
